The Affordable Housing Bank of Punjab Partnership is a new hope for poor and low-income families in Punjab. Under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme, the Punjab government and Bank of Punjab are working together to give interest-free housing loans to deserving people. This plan will help build 100,000 homes and create 500,000 jobs in just a few years. With easy loan approval and less paperwork, this program is making it easier for people to build or buy their own house and live a better life.

Punjab Government Joins Hands with Bank of Punjab

The partnership between the Punjab Housing Department and Bank of Punjab was officially sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This means the Bank of Punjab will now be the exclusive financing partner for the entire housing scheme in 2025–26.

At the MoU signing, Housing Minister Bilal Yasin and Bank of Punjab President Zafar Masud highlighted their joint commitment to supporting the underprivileged. By streamlining the loan process, this partnership is removing the usual hurdles people face while applying for home financing.
